MARTIAN WILD WEST HELL FROM THE FUTURE OF 1985

Recently I kind of spontaneously started a new series of paintings. Heavily inspired by outlaw/independent country music, the political climate we find ourselves in, and many other influences forced these pieces out of my head and onto canvas.

A few quick sketches and a couple google rabbit holes about dead outlaws led to this new body of work.

Along with the fresh subject matter, these pieces are brought to life in mixed media, but a majority of the color you see on these pieces are by an amazing company called Nova Color.
